One of the greatest benefits of being a member of ASSET | Accounting & Finance is building a network. As a member, you get the opportunity to make valuable contacts with fellow students, alumni and professionals in the finance world. We now have a network of more than 90 partners and 160 active members. These contacts can be invaluable for your future career. Moreover, long-term friendships often develop by organizing events together or simply socializing.
Events that enrich your student life
At ASSET | Accounting & Finance, we organize a wide range of events, both formal and informal. These include workshops, networking events, and company visits that help you gain more knowledge about your field and prepare you for your career. In total, our committees and the board organize 13 formal events. At the same time, we also host social drinks, parties, and sports activities, which are (almost always) free for active members, so you can make the most of your student life. There are approximately 30 of these events throughout the year. By participating in these activities, you create memories that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
Academic support and study help
We understand that studying can be tough at times, which is why as an association we offer summaries and study help. By studying together, you learn from each other and help each other achieve better results. In addition, being part of a committee helps create a healthy rhythm in your study and free time. This way you can be sure that your studies and leisure time remain in balance.

By participating in a committee, you will learn to organize events and work together effectively in a group. These partners offer internships, work-study placements and career opportunities, allowing you to properly orientate on your future. Our members often have an edge in finding an internship or job, thanks in part to the valuable connections they gain through the association.
International experiences
We also offer opportunities to explore the world with other members. Our CityTrips and StudyTour take you abroad, where you not only learn about new cultures, but also expand your network and make great memories. The CityTrip consists of a weekend away within Europe. Whereas the StudyTour is instead a 10-day trip to a destination outside of Europe. This makes your student time extra special and gives you the chance to get to know the international world of finance and accountancy in a unique way.
Accessible and affordable
Another great advantage of being a member of ASSET | Accounting & Finance is that we make sure our activities are affordable. Whether you want to go to a social drink or an activity, it is often a lot cheaper (often even free) to do so through our association. This way we make sure that everyone gets the chance to enjoy their student time to the fullest.
