Ronald van Eupen

My name is Ronald van Eupen and I am 21 years old. I’m master Finance student at Tilburg University. Besides my study I’m an active member of Asset Accounting & Finance since my second year of Bachelor Business Economics. I’ve organized the A&F Financial Business Dinner 2014 and I’m currently in the A&F investment committee where we manage a portfolio. I joined the Editorial Board to develop my writing skills and my knowledge about Finance and Accounting. Furthermore, it provides me with a great opportunity to get to know successful and influential people in their respective industries. I hope to be a valuable member of the editorial board and provide great new articles and interviews for Faces.

Intimidation

Marianne van der Zijde, former head of the Audit and Reporting Quality Division of the AFM is active in accountancy for over 28 years. First in the public audit practice and then 11 years with the AFM. Now she is an active independent and supports auditors and auditing firms in making controls better and more enjoyable. In this article she writes about a personal experience of intimidation at the workplace. Something which could happen to anyone and from which we should learn.
