A brief flashback of Investment Night

On May 3, the fourth edition of the Investment Night, organized by Asset | Accounting & Finance, took place. During this interactive evening, various professional investors came in from Beursplein 5 to discuss and share their investing strategies with the students from Tilburg University. This year, the speakers panel consisted of Corné van Zeijl, Selwyn Duijvestijn, André Brouwers and Siegfried Kok. The chairman of the evening was Arend Jan Kamp. The evening included presentations about contrarian investing, investment funds and technical and fundamental analysis. Besides the presentations, there was a quiz and the victor won the newest book of Joris Luyendijk.  At the end of the evening a battle royal took place, in which André Brouwers expressed his opinion on zero-coupon bonds.

This edition of Investment Night had a record number of registrations and I believe it was very successful. Both the speakers and guests were very enthusiastic. The Investment Night even reached the national news, as Arend Jan Kamp wrote an article on IEX.nl, one of the greatest Dutch platforms for investors. You can read the article here.

On behalf of Asset | Accounting & Finance, we would like to thank the speakers, the guests and our partners for this amazing night. We are looking forward to the next edition!
